Profile

Biography

David is a Research Fellow for Evidence Synthesis within CRD. His main interests are in autism spectrum disorder, mental health and education.

Prior to joining CRD, he worked as a trial coordinator in Lime Trees Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and was involved in a number of projects covering topics such as Social Stories and LEGO-Therapy for autistic children and specific phobias in school age children.

Since joining CRD, David has undertaken systematic reviews for a number of funders including the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and Health Policy Research Programme on topics such as general anxiety disorder (GAD) and early intensive ABA-based treatment for autistic children. He also serves as an associate editor for the journal, Systematic Reviews and an editor for the Cochrane Common Mental Disorders Group (CCMD).
